Responsibilities
  • Register and assign rooms to guests.
  • Issue room keys and escort instructions to the Guest Service Agent or directly to guests.
  • Sort and track incoming mail and messages.
  • Transmit and receive messages using all communication avenues.
  • Answer inquiries about hotel services, guest registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
  • Maintain records of room availability and rates.
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
  • Make, confirm, and cancel reservations through all communication avenues.
  • Post room, food, liquor, and telephone charges to guest bills when the interface is inoperable.
  • Make reservation, transportation, and entertainment arrangements for guests.
  • Deposit guest valuables in the hotel safe-deposit box.
