Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business with current and prospective customers to grow sales while maintaining current business base.
  • Develop relationships with current customers and prospects at all levels to increase sales volume and promote better communication.
  • Present and negotiate contracts and proposals for prospective business to increase sales volume.
  • Work with Customer Account Specialist to ensure adequate inventories are available to maintain customer satisfaction and expectations while properly utilizing Silgan White Cap revenue.
  • Maintain contact via telephone, emails and headquarter or plant visits with key personnel of current and potential customers to stay abreast of new business opportunities.
  • Work on accounts receivables to resolve credit issues such as remittance discrepancies and late payments to better manage working capital.
  • Negotiate equitable settlements on claims to mutual satisfaction of the customer and Silgan White Cap.
  • Identify and help develop opportunities in new markets.
