Requirements
  • Knowledge of standard measuring equipment such as tape measures.
  • Ability to read specific work instructions for made-to-order products.
  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and stretching in a hot, humid, and dusty environment.
  • Previous hands-on experience using overhead and jib cranes and typical material-handling equipment such as pallet trucks.
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble and build crates for assembled pumps and motors and prepare them for outbound shipping.
  • Load and unload tools and raw materials.
  • Assemble scaffolding and other pieces of equipment.
  • Operate compressors and small power equipment such as drills and band saws.
  • Fasten parts and components together using hand and power tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following health and safety, housekeeping, and personal protective equipment practices.
  • Follow company policies described in the employee handbook.
  • Remove waste to support production.
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers.
  • Mark, record, and report defects.
  • Clean work areas and equipment.
  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
