You will be part of:
The Brokerage platform development team, which is responsible for front-end applications and services supporting IBKR’s rapidly growing client base
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing brokerage front-end applications and micro-services.
- Working independently while also being a collaborative member of the team.
- Optimizing and refactoring existing code for improved reliability and performance.
- Writing and maintaining design and engineering documentation.
You have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related degree
- One-plus years of Java experience
- Good knowledge of Java 8, Java 11 and Java 17, Concurrency, Object-Oriented concepts, n-tier applications
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of financial instruments is a plus. If you do not have financial experience, you should have the desire to learn and understand financial instruments and concepts.
