Automation Tester

Job Description

ABB is looking for a SR Quality Assurance Analyst to write and execute test cases, develop/execute automated test cases, participate in Agile Scrum team as the Quality Analyst, review test cases for completeness and adequacy and perform different types of testing including functional, regression, and integration. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test scripts and appropriately record results

• Record defects in defect tracking system and follow-up on corrections

• Perform root cause analysis to analyze defects with developers, analysts and customers

• Work in Automation group to assist with identifying and automating tests

• Work with QA lead/QE to maintain automation test library

• Understand and adhere to documentation standards

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from a four year university and 5 years of professional experience in a Quality environment.

A Master’s Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience.

A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Java, LINUX, ORACLE, SQL, Web Application

• Selenium
