Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Zero to three years of customer service-related experience is required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are required.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships is required.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage customer engagement opportunities from inbound interactions to identify, develop, document, and appropriately route sales opportunities to product sales teams.
  • Collaborate with coworkers, National Sales Managers, and regional sales teams in a team-selling environment to maximize engagement with customers.
  • Deliver customer service and drive sales growth through effective communication, product knowledge, and relationship-building.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email and bring inquiries to a positive and efficient conclusion.
  • Identify and address customer issues and concerns and lead them to timely resolution.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of products and their applications to assist customers and provide accurate information.
  • Process orders, expedite requests, and handle other customer inquiries while keeping customer accounts accurate and current.
  • Keep customers informed about order status and potential delays.
  • Gather and document customer feedback, identify trends and improvement areas, and share insights with the team.
  • Log customer interactions and maintain detailed records of inquiries, orders, actions taken, and resolutions.
  • Work with sales managers, technical support, logistics, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve complex issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients by understanding their needs and presenting suitable solutions.
  • Reach out to dormant and legacy customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Guide clients through the sales process from initial contact through closing.
  • Provide product information, technical support, and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of products to communicate their benefits and address client inquiries.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Preferred experience selling switchgear, busway, switchboards, panelboards, transformers, or medium-voltage gear products.
