Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in related field(s)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Commerce, Operations Management, Business Analysis, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent analytical discipline
  • Demonstrated data-driven, analytical, attention-to-detail mindset
  • Demonstrated self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge the standard thinking with new ideas and solutions
  • Strong decision-making skills and the determination to see projects through to impact
  • Strong people skills and ability to develop respect and trust with others
  • Experience with Tableau, Excel, SQL, or other analytical software
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience in the software or information technology industry preferred
Responsibilities
  • Structure and execute strategic initiatives
  • Gather and synthesize relevant data, conduct quantitative and qualitative research, lead analyses, and present final recommendations that will drive short- and long-term growth
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, including new business models and initiatives
  • Create performance models that account for plausible scenarios and illustrate limitations of tolerable risks
  • Ensure the stability and reliability of data sources and reporting systems processes, the accuracy of reports, analytical soundness, and timely delivery of work products
  • Help prioritize work based on strategic importance, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of financial and business performance metrics
  • Work closely with finance and business line leaders to measure the impact of initiatives
  • Review historical performance and create strategic recommendations
  • Track industry, competitor, and consumer behavior trends that can impact Appian
