Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
  • Two or more years’ experience in a related investment role is required.
  • Life & Health Insurance, FINRA Series 7 & 66 required.
  • 63 & 65 licensing can be in place of 66.
  • Previous investment experience in a bank or credit union environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Build trusted relationships with members by understanding their financial goals, values, and life stages
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans, including retirement, investment, insurance, and legacy strategies
  • Provide personalized investment recommendations aligned with members’ objectives and risk tolerance
  • Partner with internal credit union teams to deliver a seamless, holistic member experience
  • Grow and manage a book of business through proactive outreach, referrals, and ongoing relationship management
  • Analyze investment strategies and make recommendations to members.
  • Achieve sales/production goals to ensure revenue projections are met.
  • Stay abreast of the investment tools and services available that can maximize performance.
  • Ensure business activities and investment recommendations comply with rules and regulations.
  • Make outbound calls to members from various lead lists.
  • Generate referrals from credit union employees.
  • Attend credit union functions and other community meetings as necessary.
  • Promote honest and open communication throughout the credit union.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the credit union’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
  • Work with other credit union departments to ensure the workflow or process provides the best service to the members.
