Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7+ years in Information technology.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Analyst, Salesforce Administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Customer Support Cloud.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant) are a plus.
  • Experience with Marketo is a plus.
  • Building applications in Salesforce cloud environment (Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Field Service Lightning).
  • Experience with multiple complex deployments/implementing Salesforce applications.
  • Object-oriented design patterns (OOAD) with knowledge of platform-specific design patterns and limits.
  • Experience with Github and DevOps.
  • Proficiency in APEX and Lightning design and development frameworks.
  • Data migration and common ETL tools (Informatica Cloud, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft).
  • Experience building applications, including understanding in multiple technology stacks and Salesforce.
  • Ability to identify business requirements and requirements from stakeholders on projects.
  • Experience supporting architectural and code-review.
  • Experience demonstrating technical solutions for customers and users.
  • Experience analyzing new business processes and performing business process re-engineering.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and clear understanding of data structures and relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the Salesforce Direction for McKesson Canada supporting our SF instances.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Act as primary escalation point and support for Scrum, Application Development and Support teams.
  • Gather and analyze requirements from various teams to ensure Salesforce solutions meet their needs.
  • Review solutions with the Development team to ensure alignment with Salesforce and McKesson best practice.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to manage project timelines and deliverables.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance for multiple Salesforce instances.
  • Ensure Salesforce instances are configured to meet business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Perform regular system audits and prepare for Salesforce upgrades.
  • Provide Direction for the optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support marketing initiatives.
  • Provide Direction for the optimization Salesforce Customer Support Cloud to enhance customer service operations.
  • Maintain up to date documentation on Salesforce Integrations with 3rd party Providers.
  • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and best practices.
  • Provide technical support for complex Salesforce-related issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
  • Provide technical direction and oversight for a development scrum team.
  • Ensure that development tasks are aligned with business requirements and project goals.
  • Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings.
  • Guide team members to foster a collaborative and productive development environment.
