Requirements
- Must be able to travel to and from multiple properties as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to navigate varied situations.
- Attention to detail.
- Understanding of and compliance with state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws, and California Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive, friendly attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels.
Responsibilities
- Greet and tour prospective residents.
- Promote available units and amenities through online platforms, signage, and outreach.
- Explain lease terms, application requirements, and pricing.
- Process and maintain accurate resident files.
- Work closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed.
- Process re-certifications and renewals and assist with retention efforts.
- Understand and communicate lease provisions and community policies to new and current residents.
- Assist applicants with the application process.
- Create and update the waitlist.
- Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by the Property Manager.
- Ensure resident satisfaction through effective communication and proactive issue resolution.
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections with residents.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of property management software, specifically Yardi.
- A minimum of one year of sales experience.
