What believers are saying

  • The company posted nine open roles on July 23, 2026, signaling active buildout.
  • JX Mo said April 7, 2026 it will deploy 100-plus robots to partners in July.
  • Gradient Robotics hired for mechanical, ML, software, electrical, and controls roles in 2026.

What critics are saying

  • Gradient Robotics has no public revenue, customer logos, or product pricing as of July 2026.
  • Its website stays sparse; the company relies on hiring pages and LinkedIn claims.
  • Humanoid robotics remains commercial proof, and a missed factory pilot in 2026 kills momentum.

What makes Gradient Robotics unique

  • Menlo Park team claims end-to-end robotics stack, from hardware to models, in 2026.
  • Gradient Robotics targets industrial autonomy, not consumer robotics, across factories and data centers.
  • Founders Scott Carlson and Jingxiang Mo left K-Scale in September 2025.
