Exiger Government Services (EGS) is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Supervisory Analyst, who will provide support focused on bringing Exiger’s best-in-class technology, process, and expertise to Exiger’s public and private sector clients. Exiger works closely with agencies of the U.S. Government on national security and intelligence matters; focal areas for supply chain analysis often include force protection, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, CFIUS, and people vetting, among other related subjects. Exiger is also increasingly working with private-sector companies on SCRM.
The candidate will supervise a team of analysts and senior analysts who gather, synthesize, and analyze SCRM-related information to support multiple client accounts, as well as explore and combine information from disparate data sources to help the client understand their mission environment and SCRM challenges. In this role, he or she will oversee other analysts in researching, monitoring, manipulating, and analyzing data, making recommendations based on that data, and presenting findings in Exiger’s analytics environment. The candidate will oversee and perform research for information as well as identify risk information using DDIQ, Exiger’s machine learning-driven due diligence platform. The candidate will also coordinate and collaborate with each account’s designated Program Manager and Account Manager for particular SCRM assignments while reporting directly to the Analytics Manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for collaborative problem solving, possess intermediate to advanced skills in data analysis and data management tools and techniques, including data visualization, have professional experience in risk management pertaining to U.S. spending programs for advanced technology, be skilled in or able to quickly learn to use DDIQ, possess expert knowledge of the client’s priorities, and be a hands-on leader willing to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done. The successful candidate must be an energetic professional who will advocate for the company and be able to establish and maintain strong client and internal relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of analysts and seniors’ analysts delivering timely and relevant derivative products in accordance with established timelines
- Communicate program status to managers, senior managers, and Exiger key leaders
- Mange multiple tasks with competing requirements
- Maintain expertise on Exiger’s best in class and evolving technology
- Provide oversight and support to assigned resources, including serving as a performance manager
- Prepare client-ready presentations and quantitative exhibits on the project scope and findings, and brief senior audiences within and outside the company
- Provide situational awareness to other members of the team
- Lead by example
Professional Experience Required
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong leadership and task management skills
- Minimum four (5) years of experience managing risk for U.S. government spending programs focused on advanced technology
- Extensive experience using analytical research and/or industry tools to manage and analyze data
- At least intermediate-level skills using data tools such as Excel and/or SQL, Python, etc., as well as experience in data visualization tools and techniques
- Ability and confidence to draw high-level assessments from research and data
- Ability to write and speak clearly to brief complex analytical matters to all levels
- Ability and desire to learn and master the tools relevant to Exiger’s capabilities
- Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize and work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective and positive leadership qualities
Preferred Experience
- In-depth understanding of domains and tools relevant to Exiger’s capabilities, with DDIQ proficiency a plus
- In-depth understanding of clients’ missions and priorities
- Knowledge and understanding of the tradecraft, applications, tools, and methods to collect, analyze, and integrate complex information to solve difficult analytical problems
- Foreign language skills, including Chinese, a plus
- Prior USG experience a plus
- Willingness to work in or travel to the DC metro area
- Active or prior security clearance, or ability to obtain a security clearance
This position is remote eligible within the United States, excluding residents of California, Colorado, and New York.
