Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in providing hospice nursing. This may be higher by state specific regulation.
- Previous management or supervisory experience required.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the State Board in which he/she practices.
Responsibilities
- The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall clinical operation of the hospice care agency.
- Budgetary oversight for the hospice care agency.
- Management of the nursing team and leading its activities.
- Providing clinical direction to staff.
- Ensuring growth and profitability of the agency.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality levels consistent with professional standards and goals.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
