Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of multi-state, multi-site operational leadership experience in healthcare services or a comparably customer-service-driven environment is required.
  • A track record of P&L ownership in excess of $100 million, with tight budget management and optimized operating expenses, is required.
  • Demonstrable success driving sustainable growth in both business-to-consumer and business-to-business channels is required.
  • A proven record of delivering efficiencies in complex, multi-unit, multi-location environments is required.
  • Strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • The candidate must be able to operate from strategic to hands-on work as business needs require.
  • The candidate must have high emotional intelligence, executive presence, and cultural versatility to influence a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Own and operate the full divisional P&L across all assigned Applied Behavior Analysis markets, including revenue performance, expense management, productivity, and margin.
  • Develop and execute market-level business plans aligned to enterprise strategy, including growth targets, financial objectives, and disenrollment reduction.
  • Drive performance so every market meets census, utilization, retention, productivity, and operational maturity expectations.
  • Ensure consistent execution of operational standards across all markets.
  • Review and manage divisional and market-level key performance indicators covering staffing stability, client intake, access to care, delivered hours, billable hours, disenrollment, retention, utilization, cost control, and operational efficiency.
  • Directly lead, coach, and hold Regional Directors, Directors of Operations, and Clinical Directors accountable for operational, people, clinical, and market outcomes.
  • Establish expectations, scorecard ownership, and execution standards for each direct report.
  • Track and communicate key performance indicator and scorecard results.
  • Conduct one-on-ones, performance reviews, coaching sessions, and leadership development planning.
  • Ensure direct reports manage performance, accountability processes, and corrective action within their markets.
  • Execute market-level growth strategies, including new market launches, ramp optimization, capacity expansion, access-to-care initiatives, disenrollment mitigation, retention improvement, and operational improvements.
  • Partner with the Chief Operating Officer and functional leaders to translate strategic direction into consistent execution in every market.
  • Monitor market dynamics and the competitive landscape to support a differentiated, family-centered experience.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to ensure clinical quality, ethical care, and compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
  • Monitor clinical quality metrics, outcomes, and program effectiveness.
  • Support clinical teams with operational solutions that improve scheduling, utilization, and family experience without compromising care standards.
  • Ensure markets meet and maintain regulatory, licensing, accreditation, and payer requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate safety, cleanliness, documentation accuracy, and operational integrity.
  • Ensure operational, clinical, and billing documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant.
  • Drive leadership development across the division.
  • Mentor Regional Directors and Directors of Operations toward increased responsibility and succession readiness.
  • Ensure strong hiring, onboarding, engagement, and retention practices in all markets.
  • Build a leadership bench through continuous coaching and performance management.
  • Conduct or support evaluations, disciplinary actions, and staffing plans with market leaders.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex client, caregiver, and employee matters.
  • Guide Regional Directors and Clinical Directors on issue-resolution strategies.
  • Champion a high-touch, family-centered experience in every market.
  • Collaborate with Clinical, Admissions, Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology, Training, Billing, and Finance.
  • Participate in divisional and enterprise meetings, workgroups, and best-practice initiatives.
  • Communicate priorities, performance expectations, and operational outcomes.
  • Travel 50 to 60 percent within the defined territory.
Desired Qualifications
  • An MBA or other master's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare services is preferred.
  • A passion for creating and scaling a mission-driven culture across the portfolio is preferred.
  • Experience driving sustainable growth in business-to-consumer and business-to-business channels is desirable.
