Sr People Operations Specialist
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)

The People Operations Specialist is a key member of the team scaling employee lifecycle experience while delivering operational excellence. Reporting to the Director, People Operations, this role will play an integral role in driving efficiency throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. We’re looking for a hands-on builder who doesn’t hesitate to challenge traditional thinking and pursues new territory with an entrepreneurial spirit, drive, and sense of ownership.
What You Will Accomplish:
- Support our standard new hire pre-onboarding, onboarding and offboarding processes and conduct exit interviews.
- Conduct new hire orientation on Day 1 of the onboarding program and send calendar invites to new hires.
- Proactively support day-to-day employee queries and escalate as necessary to subject matter experts.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and compliance programs with administrative deliverables, audits and enhancements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding Workday questions around employee lifecycle transactions.
- Produce reports using Workday, carry out regular data audits and support compliance-related requests.
- Partner cross-functionally with our People Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and other teams – as well as outside vendors – to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
- Continuously drive process improvements in the employee lifecycle spaces, identifying gaps, potential solutions, while reviewing downstream impact with partner teams and drive process solution implementation.
- Coordinate with external immigration counsel on the US immigration matters and partner with the Recruiting team on immigration questions.
- Maintain accurate records of immigration documentation and status updates.
- Support audit deliverables, ensure data accuracy and compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Answer employee questions around benefit program and day-to-day administration.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Other projects as needed.
What You Will Bring:
- 4+ years’ experience in a Human Resources function preferably in a tech start-up environment.
- Ability to learn quickly, handle multiple tasks and competing priorities and adapt to a fluid, high-growth environment.
- A positive, customer-service mindset with excellent communication skills across a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Team player with a sense of ownership and “get things done” attitude - self-motivated.
- Successful track record of supporting high volume HR processes, employee resourcing, and personnel management.
- Comfortable with technical systems and software, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Greenhouse (ATS/Onboarding tool), experience with Workday is preferred.
- Basic understanding of day-to-day benefits administration and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations is desired.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university is highly desired.

Pay Range:
$ 122,000.00USD - $140,000.00USD
The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
