  • BA/BS degree or above with 3+ years of network project delivery or technical leadership background
  • Good understanding of public clouds, including but not limited to switches, routers, fast connect / direct connect
  • Effective communication skills to handle comms to teams, management and cross functional stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where self-motivated, autonomy and self-decision making is needed (to an extent) and juggle between multi projects/tasks.
Responsibilities
  • Be the bridge between various public cloud vendors, internal teams across countries
  • Manage a variety of complex, cross-functional programs and lead all aspects of assigned programs delivery
  • Create and maintain the Roadmap for the teams you work closely with, along with the respective Tech and Product leaders
  • Define the way of driving these programs and constantly find ways of improving this process in a data-driven manner
  • Embrace ByteDance culture and principles and promote an environment that embodies ByteDance Principle and Values
  • Allocating resources efficiently
  • Communicating with stakeholders
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Service Owners, and other XFN Teams
  • Creating Project Schedules, resourcing plans and defining Milestones
  • Track tasks and report progress, creating and utilizing dashboards, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Lead Agile/Scrum teams as a coach or scrum master.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)
  • Strong understanding of Colocations, Datacenters and Carrier Hotels
  • Strong understanding of Cross-Connects, Peering Circuits, and Structured Cabling
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Direct experience with one of the major Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)
  • Switching and Routing understanding along with Optical Transceivers
  • Dashboards and Monitoring tools experience
  • Direct Experience working with Colocation Vendors
  • Ability to read Engineering schematics and Network Diagrams

Trump Plans Talks With China To ‘Keep Tiktok Alive’

President Donald Trump said he plans to negotiate TikTok’s future with China’s government. Speaking with reporters Wednesday (Feb. 20) on Air Force One, Trump was asked if there had been any developments on the future of the popular video-sharing platform, Reuters reported Wednesday. “No, there’s a lot of people interested in TikTok, and I think we have a chance of doing something good,” Trump said. “And we’ll be speaking to China about that also because they’re a party to it, obviously. But it would be great to keep TikTok alive, sell it to somebody that’s going to do a great job with it.”
