Requirements
  • The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college, plus 2 years of relevant experience. 5 years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Familiarity with Java, AWS and Linux.
Responsibilities
  • Opportunity to provide ongoing development, maintenance, support, and software enhancements for production user facing applications and backend Java software in support of mission objectives.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Work alongside other engineers on the team to sustain and advance our organization’s capabilities.
  • Maintain and upgrade the Kubernetes clusters on the systems.
  • Patch, upgrade, scan, report, and remediate vulnerabilities for the systems.
  • Provide support to create/maintain ATO for the systems.
  • Continuous monitoring of all systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarly with System Administration in the cloud (deploying and operating services and applications in an Amazon AWS/C2S infrastructure environment).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Docker.
  • Familiarly with Microservices architecture.
