First annual Windy City Boat & Yacht Show set to launch in June 2026. The new Windy City Boat & Yacht Show will have its inaugural show June 12-14, 2026 in downtown Chicago's Burnham Harbor, organized and produced by Informa in collaboration with Chicago Park District, Chicago Harbors and Suntex Marinas. The boat show debut will include an expansive fleet of powerboats and sailboats, interactive exhibits, VIP experiences and an exciting location right on the waterfront. Informa reported what it called a "remarkable" 2025, with double-digit revenue growth, margin expansion and record free cash flow approaching £900 million. The company's portfolio is now approximately 75% B2B live events, generating around £4 billion in revenue. The group operates about 800 brands, with its top 50 representing over £2 billion in revenue. Management plans 20 brand extensions and new launches for 2026, targeting at least 5% growth in every region through pricing, geographic expansion and services monetisation. Addressing Middle East disruption, Informa said it has rescheduled affected events and secured capacity, with forward bookings at 50-60%. The company reported no large cancellations or discount demands. LEAP remains scheduled for early April, though a postponement option exists. Academic publishing grew 3.6%, whilst B2B digital services struggled in its first year.
