Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
  • Five years of experience in quality management or a leadership role.
  • Working knowledge of core quality system principles, including Production Part Approval Process, Statistical Process Control, Advanced Product Quality Planning, and Root Cause/Corrective Action methods.
  • Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving methods and activities, including Root Cause/Corrective Action, 5-Why, 8-Disciplines, Deming/Plan-Do-Check-Act, and A3, with the ability to coach others in these methods.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems, such as SAP.
  • Experience with quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in quality management and audit tools, such as MasterControl.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure the development, launch, and maintenance of Arvato’s Corrective Action System to meet or surpass ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 requirements and associated customer-specific requirements.
  • Review documented processes and key procedures against corrective action plans through Root Cause/Corrective Action documentation to ensure safe, timely, and effective implementation.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing quality systems across departments by ensuring corrective-action effectiveness through follow-up and routine audits.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and facilitate teams in preparing and executing Root Cause/Corrective Action activities.
  • Provide detailed problem-solving expertise to Operations and Quality during Root Cause investigations.
  • Coordinate and chair cross-functional Root Cause/Corrective Action report meetings.
  • Maintain the Corrective Action tracking system and database and ensure prompt communication with involved parties.
  • Assist in preparing for third-party quality-system surveillance audits to maintain certifications.
  • Lead audits where appropriate and follow up on open issues.
  • Present relevant open issues to responsible parties and ensure prompt closure follow-up.
  • Provide training to Arvato personnel on Corrective Action procedures.
  • Provide analysis and actionable input to Management Review regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of Arvato’s Corrective Action System.
  • Participate in presentations to management and customers as required.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement and complete delegated action plans.
  • Assist in developing Turtle Diagrams, Management System requirements, and potential changes to regulatory standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and OSHA.

Ataraxis AI has raised $20.4 million in a Series A round led by AIX Ventures to commercialise its cancer treatment prediction technology. Thiel Bio, Founders Fund, Floating Point, Bertelsmann, Giant Ventures and Obvious Ventures also participated. The company previously raised $4 million in seed funding. Bertelsmann reports $1.1B profit and $21.3B revenue for 2025, maintains $26.9B growth target

German media giant Bertelsmann reported €1 billion profit for 2025, unchanged from the previous year, with revenue stable at €19 billion. Chief executive Thomas Rabe described it as a "solid financial year" for the company, which owns RTL Group, Penguin Random House and BMG music label.
