- A minimum of one year of experience working as a Certified Home Health Aide.
- A minimum of one year of experience checking vital signs and reporting or documenting information on clinical charts.
- Completion of Home Health Aide training.
- California Home Health Aide certification and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
- General knowledge and understanding of clinical terminology.
- Strong attention to detail for chart documentation.
- Strong time-management and calendaring skills, with the ability to deliver documentation on time.
- Strong experience using computers and computer systems.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Gmail, or other comparable systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work in collaboration with and under the supervision of a licensed or certified clinician.
- Provide patients with skilled services and assistance with basic daily activities.
- Check temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with exercises or repetitive routines prescribed by clinicians.
- Assist patients with getting in and out of bed, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, and ambulatory transfers.
- Provide light housekeeping assistance.
