Requirements
  • Either 4+ years of experience developing and applying optimization algorithms, or a PhD focused on applied optimization (i.e. Operations Research, Control Theory, Simulation, …)
  • Proficient in software engineering methods and tools (IDE, git, tests, …)
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with diverse teams
  • Solid foundations in algorithms, optimization theory, and their practical limits
Responsibilities
  • Identify optimization opportunities across our WMS algorithms
  • Align with stakeholders on operational feasibility and discuss tradeoffs
  • Develop and maintain efficient and robust algorithms that significantly improve our operations
  • Collect feedback, measure performance and iterate based on real-world results
