Join us. --- About the team ByteDance Networking brings together innovative ideas and technologies from network architecture, software defined networking (SDN), network virtualization, switch software and hardware co-design, and high-speed networking, to create hyper-scale data-center networking solutions that power several of the most popular apps of the world such as Douyin and TikTok which serve hundreds of millions of users around the globe. Network engineering SDN team, has been committed to the development and research in network traffic and routing control technologies and provide distributed software system to help manage and operate ByteDance’s global network. Responsibilities - Design and develop server-side QOS marking and rate limit control system to cover multiple networks. - Operation for bandwidth enforcer over business’s traffic and solve issues in production. Minimum Qualifications - A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent with two or more years of work experience - Good developing experience with one or more following languages: Golang/Python/C++, familiar with design and development for distributed system. - A solid understanding of Linux network stack, experience in Linux TC, iptables and eBPF. - Familiarity with Linux operating system, hands-on experience working in Linux environment. - Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and other common networking protocols. - Good understanding of network devices and network technologies.
