  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Willingness and ability to co-locate at project locations under the company’s traveling plan is required.
  • At least 8 years of experience managing complex electrical projects is required.
  • Deep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and align efforts with project goals.
  • Skill in resource allocation, cost control, budget management, and maximizing profitability.
  • Expertise in identifying risks, resolving conflicts, and ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Accubid Enterprise, as well as electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards in the electrical industry.
  • A proven track record of delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to work at industrial job sites and in construction office environments, including occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and performing kneeling, reaching, stooping, crouching, or crawling as necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of project financials.
  • Monitor project billings, projections, and cash flow to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with developing proposed change orders and communicate cost and schedule impacts to clients.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with internal and external teams.
  • Direct and supervise general foremen, foremen, and their crews in compliance with executed contracts, union agreements, and company policies and procedures.
  • Address office and field concerns to maintain jobsite morale and customer expectations.
  • Manage assigned projects economically while maintaining quality workmanship, a positive industry image, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare, process, and maintain contract files, correspondence, schedules, reports, and billing.
  • Direct project planning through purchasing, engineering, subcontracting, and installation.
  • Assist with project cost codes, work breakdown structures, schedules of values, phases, estimating, and project comparisons.
  • Identify project concerns and work with senior leadership to improve overall project health.
  • Attend monthly meetings to review project financial standing with the project team, partners, and customers.
