  • 5+ years of experience managing complex technical projects in software development, infrastructure, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), APIs, cloud infrastructure, and/or enterprise systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues that could affect project timelines or deliverables.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, SharePoint, LucidChart.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering projects on time, within scope, and with a high degree of quality.
  • Certifications in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified ScrumMaster), or KMP (Kanban Management Professional).
Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects, from conception and planning through execution, delivery, and post-launch support.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, inspire collaboration, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Work independently to deliver significant value to technical cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders to define project goals, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Have a solid understanding of the technical architecture and underlying systems to facilitate informed decision-making and guide technical discussions.
  • Create detailed project plans, partner with eng management to allocate resources effectively, and manage timelines to ensure successful delivery within scope and budget.
  • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate risks and status updates clearly to stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring that expectations are aligned and all necessary parties are informed of progress and any changes.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve project management processes, ensuring that lessons learned are applied to future initiatives for increased efficiency and success.
  • Track and manage interdependencies across teams and programs to ensure that potential conflicts or delays are addressed proactively.
  • Define and track key metrics to assess project success, identify bottlenecks, and continuously optimize performance.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on Agile practices when necessary, helping teams implement best practices and improve overall performance without direct involvement in day-to-day operations.
