Precedence Research values the quantum computing market at $1.44 billion in 2024, projecting it will reach $19.44 billion by 2035, representing a 29.7% CAGR. IonQ, using trapped ion technology, raised analyst attention after posting $61.9 million in 4Q25 revenues, up 429% year-over-year. Jefferies rates it a Buy with a $90 target, implying 213% upside. D-Wave Quantum's dual-platform approach combining annealing and gate-model systems has earned a unanimous Strong Buy rating from analysts, with a $38.18 average target suggesting 168% gains. Infleqtion, the sector's newcomer using neutral atom technology, went public in February through a SPAC transaction that raised $550 million. BTIG rates it a Buy with a $22 target, representing 75% potential upside.
Infleqtion, a quantum computing and sensing company, has announced 2026 revenue guidance of $40 million, reflecting growing customer demand for its neutral-atom quantum technologies. The company reported 2025 revenue of $32.5 million and a non-GAAP operating loss of $28.1 million. Recent business highlights include launching a quantum-enabled precision timing solution with Safran Electronics & Defense in April 2026, and delivering the UK's only operational 100-physical qubit quantum computing system to the National Quantum Computing Centre in March. The company secured additional funding through ARPA-E's QC3 programme and NASA's Quantum Gravity Gradiometer Pathfinder mission, bringing contracted funding to over $20 million. The new solution includes Infleqtion's Tiqker quantum optical clock, which has been integrated and validated with Safran's White Rabbit and SecureSync systems. Modern systems, from financial markets to military operations, telecom networks and datacenters, depend on technologies such as GPS or GNSS for precise timing, but these are vulnerable to jamming, spoofing, and natural disruption. As threats to traditional timing infrastructure grow, the need for resilient, independent alternatives has become critical. In a recent live demonstration conducted in partnership with Quantum Corridor, the solution integrating Tiqker, White Rabbit and SecureSync system was validated in a real-world environment, demonstrating picosecond accuracy vs. nanosecond GPS accuracy. The combined, validated solution delivers enhanced stability and resilience, ensuring continuity of operations for mission-critical systems even in environments where traditional timing signals are challenged or denied. The collaboration between Infleqtion and Safran Electronics & Defense makes the validated solution available to customers globally, across allied defense, telecommunications, and critical infrastructure sectors, enabling rapid deployment of precision timing architectures designed to operate even in GNSS-challenged environments.
Infleqtion has delivered the UK's only operational 100 physical qubit quantum computing system to the National Quantum Computing Centre, marking a significant infrastructure milestone. The company has also been selected for US Department of Energy ARPA-E funding focused on quantum algorithms for advanced energy materials. Despite these technological advances, Infleqtion's share price has experienced significant volatility, trading at $8.81 with a 40.1% decline over 30 days and 48.6% year-to-date decline. Infleqtion is targeting over 30 logical qubits in 2026 and more than 100 logical qubits in 2028.
