Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities vary based on the care plan but may include direct assistance with activities of daily living, bathing, toileting, obtaining vital signs, intake and outputs, weights, transferring, provides facial shaving, oral care, hair care and dressing.
  • The Home Health Aide reports any abnormal findings to the nurse and/or CSL.
  • The Home Health Aide communicates with the clinical team in a timely manner.
  • The Home Health Aide works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or Qualifying therapist.
  • The Home Health Aide adheres to practices and policies outlined to ensure patient safety and follows infection control standards.
