Responsibilities
  • Implement underwriting strategies and monitor progress
  • Drive continuous improvements in processes and data management
  • Demonstrate and advocate for our underwriting approach
  • Contribute to the team’s underwriting strategy
  • Attend broker and client meetings, representing Markel as required
  • Develop and maintain strong broker relationships
  • Apply appropriate underwriting and risk management practices
  • Provide underwriting support to overseas offices and handle referral approvals
  • Assist with portfolio management and project work
