Requirements
- 8-10+ years of R&D procurement/strategic sourcing/category management experience.
- 6+ years of procurement support for Pharma/R&D operations, coupled with working knowledge of clinical development and clinical operations.
- GxP environment.
- Functional Knowledge: Experience with category management/strategic sourcing/e-sourcing processes including Ariba.
- Ability to draft and manage the RFP process, perform spend analytics, and develop recommendations.
- Company/Industry Related Knowledge: R&D; Clinical operations; specific Therapeutic Area experience will also be taken into consideration in the selection of the candidate.
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification in purchasing or supply chain is desirable, e.g. from ISM (CPSM, CSM, CPM); from APICS (CPIM, CIRM); from EPIM, etc.
