  • An ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a design firm or similar setting is required.
  • Proficiency in structural design software such as RISA, Enercalc, or Tedds is required.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is required.
  • Familiarity with structural material codes and applicable building standards is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage discipline-specific design scope and budget on small to mid-sized projects.
  • Develop construction drawing packages and specifications with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct and lead field surveys, site walks, and construction field reporting.
  • Identify and document non-compliant existing conditions during site visits.
  • Interface with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Support proposal development and contribute to internal training presentations.
  • Lead squad checks and discipline reviews to ensure design quality.
  • Mentor Engineer I and Designer I/II team members.
  • Assist in system design programming and master planning with senior support.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Professional Engineer license, or progress toward obtaining one, is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with construction trade partners and vendors is preferred.
  • Strong skills in structural design calculations with limited supervision are preferred.
  • Basic troubleshooting experience with structural systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
