THE TEAM
The Event Promotion team operates in the Eventbrite Ads Pillar and manages our creators entry point into the ads ecosystem. The team is responsible for managing the UI and backend that supports the creation and management of ad campaigns. Features include, but are not limited to solutions for targeting attendees based on geography and other attributes, keeping creators up to date with timely emails reporting campaign status, and showing the creators the performance of the ad campaigns.
THE ROLE
As an Engineering Manager at Eventbrite, you will have the opportunity to drive impact through the team’s ownership of our Ads platform, and bringing impactful solutions to reality that solve unique problems for our creators. You will support the career growth of our engineers, and continue to drive change and improvement within our organization. THE SKILL SET
- At least one year experience responsible for multiple direct reports in the engineering function
- Strong technical background (5+ years) building web products and ability to contribute to design and architectural discussions
- Demonstrated ability to grow and lead high-functioning, diverse technical teams through coaching, training, and career development aligned with their goals.
- Experience working with a highly collaborative environment, driving a team who ships code to production often
- Experience using scrum or agile development methodologies to execute against roadmap initiatives
- Develop a sustainable, healthy work environment focused on creative problem solving and innovation
- Experience with fundamental cloud technologies (preferably within AWS) and the DevOps approach to autonomous team ownership of mission critical infrastructure
BONUS POINTS
- Experience in Martech, Ads, or similar industries and functions.
- Experience leading completely remote and distributed engineering teams, with global cross team collaboration.
- Strong Motivation for innovation and creativity.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Eventbrite, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $140,200 to $224,320.
You may also be eligible to participate in Eventbrite’s incentive program(s) (such as equity, annual incentive bonus and commission plans), subject to the applicable rules and restrictions.
