Requirements
  • A two-year Machine Tool Technology degree or 1-3 years of on-the-job experience with injection mold maintenance is required.
  • Must possess fine motor skills for handling delicate components.
  • Must be able to perform frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying.
  • Must possess oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be willing to learn and work at a fast pace.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble and disassemble molds following applicable work instructions and blueprints.
  • Perform overhauls and preventative maintenance; fit and shape mold components according to training guidelines and understand the mating, position, and function of parts.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on all fabricated tooling.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Prepare required documentation, including tooling work orders and quality inspection reports.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with other departments regarding mold activities.
  • Perform all job duties according to Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines, safety rules, and housekeeping requirements, and ensure other maintenance associates follow the proper guidelines, rules, and requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
