Project Manager

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of various and complex projects linked to production capacity evolution and manufacturing cost reduction such as new plant creation or relocation, technology transfer, new production installation or renewal and upgrade of existing manufacturing equipment
• Implement state of the art manufacturing processes delivered by Business Units (BU), and drive validation processes provided by MTI validation experts for new equipment
• Lead identification of relevant production technologies and integrate standards implemented by Technical Platforms
• Contribute to the BU global strategy definition and to MTI tactics to raise MSC performance
• Lead Engineering Team split across various locations within Manufacturing and Supply Chain global production network, and with a wide range of skills: experts, engineers, and technicians
• Assure close cooperation and coordination between MTI, BUs and plants, and with other partners, especially Procurement, Finance

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in the field of engineering: specialization in electrical engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable, technical studies
• Several years of professional experience in industrial engineering, project implementation or a comparable field would be an advantage
• Confident handling of standard software, such as CAD, MS Office, etc.
• Systematic, analytical and quality-oriented way of working (ideally Operational Excellence knowledge)
• Strong sense of responsibility and cost awareness as well as organizational skills
• Independence, reliability and ability to work in a team and to think in a networked manner
• Good communication skills, coupled with assertiveness and diplomacy
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Willing to travel when necessary
• Experience in maintenance and repair of production facilities (desirable)
