Requirements
  • Completion of a bachelor's degree program, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • At least four years of related experience planning and delivering on project objectives and directing team activities toward strategic goals.
  • Strong knowledge of business intelligence and data visualization, particularly Power BI, including data modeling, dashboard development, reporting logic, refresh processes, and visualization best practices.
  • Understanding of data governance, metric definitions, data validation, quality controls, documentation, access management, and reporting lifecycle management.
  • Working knowledge of data integration and reporting automation, including repeatable data pipelines, standardized extracts, and controlled refresh routines.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including understanding of performance measures, spend, savings, realized value, operational trends, risk, and executive reporting.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into practical dashboards, analyses, metrics, and decision-support tools.
  • Advanced Power BI and analytical skills sufficient to guide development, challenge reporting logic, and ensure the quality of the team's work.
  • Strong data storytelling and executive communication skills, including explaining what the data means, why it matters, the decision required, and the recommended next action.
  • Strong people-leadership skills, including setting priorities, establishing standard work, reviewing analytical quality, coaching analysts, and building team capability.
  • Strong consultative and stakeholder-management skills across technical, operational, sourcing, financial, and executive audiences.
  • Strong project and product-management discipline, including intake, prioritization, requirements gathering, development, testing, release management, user training, and ongoing support.
  • Ability to create clear, intuitive, decision-oriented visualizations.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team of data analysts and developers while remaining sufficiently hands-on to understand the data, reporting logic, and analytical products.
  • Ability to support multiple Supply Chain verticals with different business questions, data sources, stakeholders, priorities, and operating cadences.
  • Ability to establish trusted definitions and governance so leaders use consistent, explainable, documented, and reproducible information.
  • Ability to identify reporting processes that should be automated, simplified, standardized, or eliminated.
  • Ability to balance recurring reporting requirements with ad hoc executive requests and development of new analytical solutions.
  • Ability to train leaders and teams to use dashboards and analytics as part of regular operating and performance-management routines.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the analytics and business insights function for Enterprise Supply Chain, with ownership of reporting products, dashboard reliability, and actionable data interpretation.
  • Translate executive, sourcing, operational, shared services, and economic mobility needs into practical analytics solutions.
  • Create a disciplined reporting environment that distinguishes activity, opportunity, projected value, realized value, risk, and performance trends.
  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve Power BI dashboards for Supply Chain verticals.
  • Ensure dashboards are reliable, current, user-friendly, and aligned with Supply Chain metrics and operating cadence.
  • Maintain data definitions, reporting logic, refresh cadence, dashboard governance, and version control.
  • Automate data collection and refresh processes that feed Power BI dashboards and other business intelligence tools.
  • Replace manual reporting processes with repeatable data pipelines, standardized templates, automated extracts, and controlled reporting routines.
  • Partner with technology, operations, sourcing, finance, and other data owners to improve data quality, reduce rework, and increase reporting speed.
  • Create new analysis solutions for sourcing, operations, shared services, technology, facilities, purchased services, contracting, economic mobility, and university-facing work.
  • Develop tools for savings pipeline tracking, spend segmentation, supplier concentration, contract adoption, cycle time, project performance, inventory indicators, service metrics, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Convert complex data into clear narratives, visuals, and recommendations that identify the issue, decision point, expected impact, and next action.
  • Train Supply Chain leaders and teams on analytics tools, dashboard use, interpretation, and appropriate application of business intelligence products.
  • Support leaders using analytics during operating reviews, quarterly business reviews, executive briefings, initiative tracking, supplier discussions, and performance-management routines.
  • Improve analytics adoption by making tools intuitive, decision-oriented, and connected to leaders' accountability areas.
  • Lead three analytics analysts responsible for data preparation, dashboard maintenance, ad hoc analysis, reporting support, and business intelligence product development.
  • Establish standard work for intake, prioritization, dashboard development, data validation, documentation, release management, user training, and ongoing support.
  • Create governance routines defining report ownership, metric definitions, refresh cadence, access expectations, data validation, and escalation pathways.
  • Serve as an analytics partner to Supply Chain vertical leaders, Finance, IT, sourcing teams, operations leaders, shared services, and economic mobility stakeholders.
  • Ensure analysis is explainable, documented, reproducible, and aligned with the business question being answered.
Desired Qualifications
  • An advanced degree.
  • At least five years of professional experience managing complex deliverables and coordinating diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience building or supporting business intelligence, Power BI dashboards, data automation, reporting governance, or analytics products in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting supply chain, sourcing, finance, operations, healthcare, university, or similarly complex enterprise functions.
