Responsibilities
Assist the Information Systems Security Manager in planning, organizing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance of classified systems in accordance with NISPOM, Risk Management Framework, and the DCSA Assessment & Authorization Guide.
Provide day-to-day technical support to classified information systems, adhering to policies, procedures, and best practices, and troubleshoot systems as necessary.
Mitigate information-system vulnerabilities to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, and report discrepancies to the Information Systems Security Manager, Information Systems Security Officer, and/or Facility Security Officer.
Manage and schedule information-system patching, updating, and scanning based on vulnerabilities, threats, or regulatory compliance; maintain day-to-day security posture and continuous monitoring for all systems.
Manage user access and support user technical requirements.
Assist with information systems incident response.
Desired Qualifications
An active U.S. Department of Defense security clearance.
A current DoD Information Assurance Workforce Level I or higher IAT certification, such as GSEC, Network+, Security+, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, GCIH, CGED, CISSP, or CASP.
Working knowledge of Linux.
Experience administering and maintaining DoD classified information systems.
Experience with DISA STIGs.
Experience with ACAS/Tenable Nessus.
Experience with Cisco network devices.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
