Requirements
  • At least 5 years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
  • Ability to travel in the assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first six months and before placement in a specific branch, depending on location.
  • SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
  • Loan Originators must meet Loan Originator and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
  • A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply.
  • The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the branch sales leader, acquiring, deepening, and retaining customer relationships to drive growth in checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a branch team to execute desired behaviors and improve banker productivity.
  • Build and retain a high-performing team by establishing expectations and managing performance through targeted coaching.
  • Lead the branch team in identifying customer financial needs and delivering tailored consumer and business solutions.
  • Use branch manager routines, observation, feedback, and follow-up to build individual capability, confidence, and productivity while holding the team accountable to behaviors and outcomes.
  • Partner with Wealth and Investment Management, Business Banking, and Home Lending sales partners to provide coordinated customer solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify banking through education and demonstrations of digital options.
  • Use reporting and employee observations to identify strengths and opportunities, then take action to improve team performance and expand primary bank relationships and wallet share.
  • Balance growth, operational soundness, and talent decisions while managing risk, resolving issues, and modeling behaviors that protect customers, employees, and the company.
  • Complete the Branch Manager Readiness Program, when applicable, before transitioning into a Branch Manager position.

  • Knowledge of banking laws and regulations, compliance controls, operational risk management, and loss prevention.

Swift Current Energy secures $750M credit facility to accelerate US clean energy development

Swift Current Energy has secured a $750 million corporate credit facility, with an option to expand by $250 million to reach $1 billion in total capacity. The facility will support the development of clean energy projects across the United States. Crédit Agricole CIB served as administrative agent and coordinating lead arranger alongside ING Capital and Truist Securities. The dual-tranche facility has a three-year term and provides flexible access to cash and letter of credit capacity. Since its founding in 2016, Swift Current has commercialised 5 gigawatts of clean energy projects, owns and operates more than 1 gigawatt, and has over 10 gigawatts in development. Chief executive officer Michael Arndt said the financing provides flexibility to advance the company's platform and bring new energy resources online efficiently.

Charles Schwab completes $2.6B debt offering with fixed-to-floating rate senior notes

Charles Schwab Corporation has completed a $2.6 billion debt offering, issuing two tranches of fixed-to-floating rate senior notes. The company sold $1.25 billion of 5.108% notes due 2032 and $1.35 billion of 5.655% notes due 2037. The offering was led by BofA Securities, Citigroup Global Markets, Morgan Stanley, TD Securities and Wells Fargo Securities as joint bookrunning managers. Charles Schwab is a savings and loan holding company that provides wealth management, securities brokerage, banking, asset management and financial advisory services through its subsidiaries.
