Requirements
  • Four or more years of related experience
  • 3-5 years' experience with ServiceNow implementation and administration
  • Hardware and Software asset management experience
  • Overarching understanding of ServiceNow's Enterprise product suite
  • Hands-on experience in technical solution design, software specifications, conceptualization, and development
  • Be highly organized, professional, friendly, and articulate in your communication and troubleshooting skills
  • An understanding of public cloud infrastructure
  • Attention to detail with a keen eye for good design
  • A working knowledge of data analytics and SQL
  • Scripting experience with Python and/or Powershell
Responsibilities
  • Configure, implement and maintain the ServiceNow system. This includes the management of workflows, user roles and access, integrations, CMDB
  • Identify, implement and drive automation in ServiceNow and other platforms within Cloud Services
  • Plan for future customer additions to our platforms
  • Integrate our current platforms with external service providers to drive operational automation, efficiency and excellence
  • Work with both Kinaxis IT and external partners to manage the roadmap for introducing new system integration points and automation processes for our platforms, including ServiceNow
  • Manage the introduction of new Services into ServiceNow, as part of the ITOM Service Mapping module
  • Create, maintain, and update documentation
  • Maintain an effective and efficient CMDB using the ServiceNow ITOM module, ensuring it is current, accurate, and stable
  • Configure catalog items and their associated workflows within ServiceNow
  • Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of the ServiceNow ITOM implementation
  • Work with IT, to test and install updates and new releases to our platforms, including ServiceNow
  • Create, maintain, and enhance team dashboards, analytics, and reporting
  • Ensure operational integrity of workflows and configurations
  • Advise on features and functionality
  • Participate in cross-functional working teams comprised of stakeholders from IT, Project Management Office (PMO), and other business practice groups
  • Commit to the continuous improvement, and learning development of ServiceNow best practices, tools, and technology
  • Extract data and perform reporting/ad-hoc analyses/deep dives to support the business teams across Kinaxis
  • Support ServiceNow lifecycle development processes as needed, which includes, but is not limited to capturing business requirement definitions (BRD/user stories), creating functional requirement definitions (FRD), technical design documents (TDD), and running user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Collaborate on the KPIs and metrics to monitor and run the business and build reports/dashboards using them
  • Evangelize our ServiceNow offering within Kinaxis and promote user adoption
Desired Qualifications
  • ServiceNow System Administrator certification. A specific focus on the ServiceNow ITOM module, including Service Mapping expertise is a plus. (Other ServiceNow certifications and training are also a plus)
