- At least 5 years of hands-on commercial low-voltage security experience.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a Lead Technician, Foreman, or supervisory role.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise access control, including controllers, strikes, and maglocks, and IP closed-circuit television systems.
- Experience with back-end integration and programming of platforms such as Avigilon, Lenel, or Genetec.
- Ability to read construction plans, risers, and hardware schedules.
- Support and guide security technicians in the field, helping them develop into Foremen and site leads.
- Track schedules, budgets, and on-site progress to keep commercial security projects moving.
- Oversee access control and closed-circuit television installations from rough-in through programming, testing, and closeout.
- Work directly with Senior Project Managers, general contractors, and field teams to resolve issues and keep jobs on track.
- Familiarity with Verkada, Genetec, or Axis.
- BICSI, NICET, or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Bluebeam.
