Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a copywriting, content marketing or similar content role and bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or related field
  • Proven experience writing blog articles and website copy
  • Ability to share a portfolio of personally created content to support overall writing ability and style
  • Demonstrated ability to meet content and project deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience in transportation, finance or technology industries a plus
  • Experience with Google Analytics and/or SEMrush a plus
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with marketing team leadership to further develop and implement our content marketing strategy
  • Help develop and maintain marketing content on company websites, including writing and editing blog articles, white papers, thought leadership content, etc
  • Create and maintain a content calendar to support overall content marketing strategy
  • Use research on the latest industry trends and customer issues to suggest content marketing initiatives
  • Create copy for additional marketing materials, including email campaigns, presentations, flyers, etc
  • Edit and proofread content for multiple brands and services with adherence to brand guidelines
  • Use tools and data from various sources, including SEMrush, Google Analytics and Google Trends, to update and enhance our digital content
  • Establish and track metrics for blog and overall website performance
  • Manage content freelance relationships and projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
