Requirements
  • BA/BS degree and/or related work experience in systems or application in business analyst or development.
  • 5+ years of experience writing technical specifications, preferably at a financial services company.
  • 5+ years working knowledge in IAM platforms (eg SailPoint, Saviynt, ServiceNow, Splunk, Varonis) preferred.
  • 5+ years working knowledge in IGA functions (eg access request, certification, application onboarding, new joiner, mover, leaver) preferred.
  • Ability to analyze current state IGA workflows and identify opportunities for improvement and/or automation.
  • Ability to leverage Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA application tools effectively.
  • Knowledge of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle required.
  • Exposure to project work and project planning, as well as project management software.
  • Ability to create presentations using software such as Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Written and oral communications skills.
  • Interviewing skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develop clear, concise IGA methodology documents, which require proficiency in interviewing skills, workflow analysis, dataflow diagramming, screen design, etc.
  • Review and assist in development of IAM project plans, project workflows and resource assignments as requested by Project Manager.
  • Facilitate the definition of functional requirements by working with technology analysts, end-users and business teams in prototyping and design sessions.
  • Create business requirement documents (BRD), translate technical details and present project concepts into effective visual images which clarify design elements and issues for both business and technical audiences.
  • Ensure software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology is followed for project; provide meaningful feedback in accordance with departmental standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain issue(s) log; coordinate and support communications surrounding both systems and user acceptance for assigned project(s).
  • Identify, mediate, resolve and eliminate miscommunications between business and technical project team members.
  • Create documentation and conduct user training.
  • Participate in development of test strategy, test plans and test cases.
  • Perform data analysis and generate reports based on finding.
  • Translate system workflows into system configuration.
  • Participate in test execution and document result.
  • Provides IAM/IGA coaching and training to Junior Systems Business Analyst.
