Requirements
  • At least 5 years of successful business development or sales experience within accounts receivable management, collections, revenue cycle, or a closely related industry.
  • Ability to work full-time from the Durham, North Carolina office in an in-office position.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently generate and close new business.
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong existing industry relationships.
  • Ability to present, communicate, negotiate, and build relationships effectively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Strong organizational skills and discipline to manage a long-term sales pipeline.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within targeted industries.
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients, decision-makers, consultants, and industry partners.
  • Learn each prospect's operational and financial challenges and position company solutions accordingly.
  • Manage the full business development cycle from prospecting and initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Develop referral and strategic partner relationships that generate new opportunities.
  • Represent the company at healthcare, utility, government, financial services, and accounts receivable industry conferences.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity.
  • Collaborate with company leadership and operational teams to develop solutions tailored to prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate customer relationship management activity, opportunity forecasts, and follow-up schedules.
  • Continue developing expertise in accounts receivable management and the industries served.
  • Build a significant book of business with long-term earning potential.
  • Work directly with company leadership on growth strategy and new-market opportunities.

  • Bachelor's degree; significant relevant industry experience may substitute.
