Requirements
- Four year college degree preferred (preferably in Computer Science or Business).
- Minimum of five years of experience with JavaScript and Java and J2EE.
- Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, JavaServer Faces, Unified Modeling Language, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Web Services (SOAP/SOA) and multi-tier software design and development, and comfortable in a Linux shell.
- Experience with build systems such as Ant or Maven.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes application specifications and technology approach to ensure business requirements are met and are scalable for future product releases.
- Works with Business Analysts and Management to recommend future application solutions.
- Produces conceptual design documents and detailed specifications for large-scale and complex projects to reinforce the company's technical product and architectural standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Project experience with Java Persistence API.
- Project experience with Web Services (XML, WSDL, XSD, and JSON).
- Project experience with Ant.
- Experience developing PL/SQL for Oracle Database or Transact-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.
