About The Role

As a Strategic Finance Associate, you will have the unique opportunity to support Headway’s rapid growth and most important decisions with analytical insight and strategic recommendations. This high impact, highly visible role sits on the Strategic Finance team, which plays a critical role in shaping our long-term business strategy and execution

You will:

Provide visibility into function-specific efficiency metrics and KPIs and proactively uncover opportunities for improvement or change
Analyze data to identify business problems and lead deep dives to perform root cause analyses
Work closely with cross-functional partners to identify business risks and develop data-driven recommendations
Support development of functional-level operating models and help drive ongoing budgeting/forecasting processes, in collaboration with FP&A
Explore new monetization opportunities and help drive Headway’s pricing strategy

You’d be a great fit if:

You have 3-4 years of professional experience, ideally in a mix of professional services (Consulting / Investment Banking / Private Equity) and highly analytical roles at a fast-growing company (Strategic Finance / Strategy & Ops / BizOps)
You are intellectually curious and seek to understand the why behind the numbers
You value precision and accuracy when it comes to your work, and you can rapidly dissect complex quantitative problems
You have exceptional analytical skills, including advanced Excel/google sheets skills, with a proven ability to digest large amounts of data and hone into the most important details

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary information is based on a single salary target per role and is differentiated based on geographic location (Group A, B, or C)
- Group A: $120,000
- Group B: $108,000
- Group C: $96,000
  - Examples of cities located in each Compensation Grouping:
  - Group A = NYC, SF/Bay Area, LA Area, Seattle, Boston, Austin, and San Diego
  - Group B = Chicago, Miami, Denver, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Nashville, Sacramento, Phoenix, and Portland
  - Group C = All remaining cities
