Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting or accounting or audit
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with SEC filings under the Investment Company Act of 1940 is a plus
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, Chartered Accountant or similar is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial and SEC reporting of CIM’s public funds
  • Prepare bi-weekly valuation decks using the Workiva platform
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting processes through automation
  • Work closely with external auditors during the annual audit process
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across departments
  • Coordinate with asset financial services and portfolio oversight
  • Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities
