Position Description
Redhorse is hiring for a Program Manager to support the Chief Digital Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) contribution in the DoD’s integrated biosurvelliance (IB) program. IB is a cornerstone of biodefense, requiring intelligence collection, analytic capabilities, and information sharing. IB is the process of gathering, integrating, interpreting, and communicating essential information related to all-hazard threats (biological, chemical, nuclear terrorist attacks; extreme weather events; naturally occurring emerging infectious diseases) or disease activity affecting human, animal, or plant health to achieve early detection and warning, to contribute to overall situational awareness of the health aspects of an incident, and to enable better decision-making at all levels. This position is part of a team that will leverage Advana’s data, analytics, AI, and automation capabilities in collaboration with ongoing efforts supported by multi-intelligence and multi-domain systems across different organizations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assists with planning, developing, testing, and documenting projects.
- Applies business process improvement practices, modernizing projects, acquisition process/planning, and reengineering old methodologies/principles.
- Support agency teams in development and management of project milestones, goals, and deliverables.
- CBRNE and/or Biosurvelliance background and/or supported work.
- Stays informed on latest AI system and software architectures and trends from design patterns to DevSecOps and systems architecture patterns.
- Works closely with clients and requirements owners to build out product lines.
- Develops plans, road maps, software design strategies. Analyze and decomposes activities and requirements to software designs that are allocated across systems components/sub-components.
- Captures, develops, and reports reference architectures and documenting compliance standards.
Required Skills/Education
- Bachelor’s degree plus 7-10 years’ experience, or a Master’s Degree plus 5 years of experience.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools.
- Well versed in modern software architectures like micro-services as well as front-end frameworks.
- DevSecOps experience preferred.
- Strong communications skills: you will be required to proactively engage fellow CDAO members and DoD cross-organizational colleagues both inside and outside of your team.
- Ability to synthesize requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines.
- Experience working with Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository system (MARS), Open Mission Systems bridge, and Open-Source Intelligence.
- Track record of active learning and creative problem solving.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
