- Develop test cases and test scripts, troubleshoot independently, integrate with test case management and defect-reporting systems, and evaluate and debug test results and metrics.
- Develop and conduct test processes for multiple types of systems, client users, and organizational units.
- Work with Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to interpret quality-control needs as requirements are developed.
- Interact successfully with users, technical and business representatives, and vendors.
- Manage vendors.
- Analyze and review test results with key team members and stakeholders and make recommendations regarding software defects.
- Assess and recommend manual and automated testing methods and procedures.
- Perform manual testing and apply testing best practices, including automated testing using HP Application Lifecycle Management, QuickTest Professional, or equivalent tools.
- Test software in enterprise web applications and client-server environments.
- Apply full life-cycle software development knowledge from requirements through release and maintenance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader for manual testing.
- Test point-of-sale applications and perform overall testing.
- Apply schedule management skills.
- Use SAP HCM and SuccessFactors, content management systems, learning management systems, test management systems, HP Application Lifecycle Management, defect management, requirements traceability matrices, Microsoft Excel, and interface, security, and data testing methods.
- Plan, lead, and coordinate all phases of testing for the Total Efficiency and Safety Tests Systems project.
- Analyze and review test results with team members and stakeholders, then make recommendations regarding software defects.
- Provide timely status reports using Microsoft Excel and HP Application Lifecycle Management.
