- BS or MS degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or related engineering field with a graduation date between June 2023-June 2024.
- Self-motivated and excellent skills in problem solving, data and failure analysis.
- Strong team-player who can collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
- Willing to learn new knowledge, and research in a new area.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Nice to have: Statistical analysis experience, including but not limited to experience with Python and JMP.
- Clean room and/or fabrication experience.
- Six Sigma methodologies.
- Participating in processes related to semiconductor wafer manufacturing.
- Sustaining the processes of ion beam mill and deposition of magnetic and non-magnetic thin film and multiplayers.
- Processing data review, disposition, and flagging process excursions.
- Developing robust processes to reduce Within Wafer (WIW) and Wafer to Wafer (WTW) variation and optimizing processes to improve wafer yield.
- Working cross-functionally with R&D, design, integration, and equipment engineering teams to transfer new tools and processes to production.
- Supporting fab production 24/7, including taking immediate action with fab issues.
