POSITION SUMMARY:
World Relief seeks a Resettlement Intern for the Sacramento Resettlement Internship (Winter/Spring 2025). The Resettlement Department focuses on welcoming newly arriving families, preparing clients on what to expect about life in the US, and connecting them to critical services in the Sacramento area. Positions within the department work together to secure refugee housing through case management, airport pickups, and apartment set up.
This is a limited-term internship until May 28, 2025.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Resettlement Department in the following:
- Welcoming newly arriving families
- Preparing clients on what to expect about life in the US
- Connecting clients to critical services in the Sacramento area.
- Collaborate within the department to secure refugee housing through case management, airport pickups, and apartment set up.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Help with initial resettlement with families in the first 90 days.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passion for resettlement, housing, casework, and walking alongside families.
