Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, business/finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in equity or fixed income trading
  • Advanced knowledge of equity and fixed income market structure
  • Advanced skillset in data assembly and manipulation (Python, R, SQL)
  • Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and communicate data quickly and effectively
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.
Responsibilities
  • Efficient and timely execution of all platform activity in equities, fixed income and mutual funds
  • Develop and execute pre and post trade analytics
  • Conduct research and analysis on various securities to assess their liquidity, trading volumes, and execution risks.
  • Evaluate counterparty performance relative to firm benchmarks
  • Ownership and understanding of order routing and EMS activity
  • Post-trade and end-of-day trade reconciliation
  • Automate legacy operational processes to drive efficiency and accuracy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external counterparties
  • Act as a point of contact for trading-related inquiries and resolve any trading-related issues promptly.
