As a Senior Associate Engineer, you will join a highly motivated and experienced team, building web and mobile applications as well as providing strategy consulting for Appnovation’s clients. We are looking for people who can bring a strong, consulting and solution-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as an information technology professional in roles such as software developer
• Strong experience building REST APIs
• Experience with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, and Angular
• Experience with identity management systems such as OpenID / RHSSO
• Experience developing with Node.js and Tailwind CSS
• Extensive experience designing and implementing SOA and microservices
• Experience with unit testing, TDD, and integration testing using Cypress
• Experience with continuous delivery tools and methodologies such as GitHub, Travis CI, and agile workflows
• Experience designing, orchestrating, and deploying container-based solutions using Docker or Kubernetes
• Understanding of agile principles and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience operating in a DevOps environment
• Strong written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building interfaces using component libraries
• Experience building in WSL2 environments
