Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Lead Analyst for its Wilmington, Delaware location.
Duties: Work with large and complex internal and external data sets to provide quantitative solutions to evaluate, recommend and implement the business strategies of Citi’s Strategy, Product and Sales. Drive analytical activities throughout the customer lifecycle from acquisition to funding, trading and attrition. Perform segmentations and identify marketing opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell in multiple channels including digital. Identify and compile data sets using a variety of tools, including SQL, SAS and Python, to predict, improve and measure the success of key business outcomes. Responsible for documenting data requirements, data collection, and processing and cleaning. Deliver exploratory data analysis using statistical models, algorithms and data visualization techniques. Develop and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reporting tools to support existing and new initiatives in the business. Drive process improvement initiatives to increase productivity, facilitate tracking, and enhance efficiency. Involve throughout the entire process of the projects assigned, from design proposal and requirements definition through documentation, development and testing, in coordination with various stake holders. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Risk Management, Statistics, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Analytics Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or related position involving business intelligence analysis and data engineering in the global financial service industry. Must have 3 years of experience with: Banking products (deposits, investment or cards products) features and operations to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies; Using business analytical skills and methodologies to quantitatively solve problem, and facilitate decision making on driving performance KPIs; Performing segmentation analysis to identify and optimize key performance drivers to increase productivity, profitability, enhance growth, and prevent attrition; Behavior forecasting and business impact anticipation using data analytics and machine learning models; Data processing with large and complex dataset using SAS, SQL, HUE and Python; Business intelligence reporting and data visualization tool, Tableau; and Identifying, managing, and measuring financial risk and solving associated problems.
